PUK President Meets Halbousi on Recent Political Developments

President Bafel meets Halbousi in Baghdad.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met in Baghdad with Mohammed al-Halbousi, leader of the Progress Party.

The meeting, attended by Qubad Talabani and Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, members of the PUK Political Bureau, focused on the political situation and recent developments in Iraq and the wider region.

Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination among all parties to ensure adherence to the constitutional timelines for the election of the President of the Republic.
