Qubad Talabani's meetings with Ambassadors of the Netherlands, France and Türkiye to Iraq—Janet Alberda, Patrick Dorrel and Anil Bora Inan.

Qubad Talabani met on Monday, 26 January 2026, with the Ambassadors of the Netherlands, France and Türkiye to Iraq—Janet Alberda, Patrick Durrel, and Anil Bora Inan, in Baghdad.

The meetings included an exchange of views on the political situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the formation of the next governments of both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and the election of a new President of the Republic of Iraq.

Talabani said: “We had productive discussions with the ambassadors of the Netherlands, France and Türkiye in Iraq on ways of developing our political and economic relations.”
