On the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of PUKMEDIA, First Lady Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed sent her congratulations to the editor-in-chief, journalists, and staff of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) official news website.

In her message, the First Lady extended her “warmest congratulations” and wished the team continued success and progress in their work. She praised PUKMEDIA as a platform for honest expression, reflecting the concerns and aspirations of the Kurdish people.

“I hope that PUKMEDIA will continue to serve the best interests of our people, conveying a message of peace and projecting the voice of the Kurds to the world in various languages,” the message read.

Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed also commended the dedication, responsibility, and integrity demonstrated by the website’s journalists throughout its 23-year history, describing their work as “truly commendable and inspiring.”

The message highlights the enduring role of PUKMEDIA in providing reliable information and contributing to Kurdish public discourse, marking over two decades of media service in the region.
