Italy Provide Medical Aid to Sulaymaniyah Health Directorate

An Italian team visited the Sulaymaniyah General Directorate of Health on Thursday, 8 January 2025, and delivered medical assistance, including medicines and medical supplies.

The Sulaymaniyah General Directorate of Health announced that a civilian contingent affiliated with the Italian forces in the Kurdistan Region paid an official visit to the Directorate. The delegation was received by Dr Sabah Nasradin, Director General of Health in Sulaymaniyah, along with senior officials from the health sector.

The visit aimed to provide medical aid to the Sulaymaniyah health authorities, with the Italian team donating a range of medicines and essential medical supplies. Dr Nasradin expressed his appreciation to the Italian civilian team and the liaison office of the Forces 70 for their continued support.

Both sides emphasised the importance of strengthening coordination in the future and agreed to expand cooperation and provide further assistance.
