Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), extended congratulations to Kurdish diplomat Barham Salih on his election as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, praising the achievement as a moment of pride for the Kurdish people.
