Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Head of the Relations Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Liu Jun, the Chinese Consul General to the Kurdistan Region, at the Political Bureau headquarters in Erbil.

During their meeting, both sides exchanged views on the election results, the political landscape, regional dynamics, and investment opportunities. Darbaz Kosrat Rasul emphasised the need for deeper coordination between the PUK and the Communist Party of China.

The Chinese consul conveyed the Chinese government and the Communist Party of China's congratulations to the PUK on its victory in the Iraqi parliamentary elections.
