PUK President Calls for Cooperation to Overcome Current Challenges

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Niccolò Fontana, the Italian Ambassador to Iraq, in Erbil.

During their meeting, they discussed the latest developments and shifts in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the wider region.

President Talabani remarked, “By cooperating at this stage, we can address the challenges more effectively and better serve our people.”

The discussion also covered ways to strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and Italy, with a particular focus on investment opportunities.
