Iraqi President Congratulates Yazidis on Jama Holiday

Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid has extended his warmest congratulations to the Yazidi community in Iraq and across the world on the occasion of the Jama Holiday.

In his message, President Rashid expressed hope that the celebration would bring peace, security, and renewed optimism to all.

“My warmest wishes to the Yazidi community in Iraq and around the world as they celebrate the Jama Holiday. May this occasion bring peace, security and renewed hope to all,” he said.

He added: “As we honour the spirit of this indigenous community, let us reaffirm our shared commitment to unity, peaceful coexistence, and common citizenship, ensuring the safe and dignified return of the displaced and the uncovering of the fate of the missing.”
