PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani received Zaher Raad, Vice President of the Progressive Socialist

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Zaher Raad, Vice President of the Progressive Socialist Democratic Party in Lebanon, at the PUK Political Bureau headquarters in Sulaymaniyah.

During the meeting, attended by Rizgar Haj Hama, member of the PUK Political Bureau, President Talabani welcomed the visiting delegation and expressed his pleasure at strengthening the relations established by the late President Mam Jalal.

Mr Raad congratulated President Talabani on his election as President of the Social Democratic Alliance in the Arab World (SDAAW). He also expressed his pleasure at visiting Sulaymaniyah and extended an invitation for President Talabani to visit Lebanon to further strengthen bilateral relations.
