Secretary-General of the Egyptian SDP Congratulates PUK President

PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeting with Egyptian SDP Secretary-General Farid Zahran.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Farid Zahran, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party (SDP), at the headquarters of the PUK Political Bureau in Sulaymaniyah.

During the meeting, attended by Shalaw Kosrat Rasul, Dr Khosrow Gull Mohammed and Saadi Ahmed Pire, members of the PUK Political Bureau, both sides affirmed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the PUK and the Egyptian Social Democratic Party.

Mr Zahran congratulated President Talabani on his election as President of the Social Democratic Alliance in the Arab World (SDAAW), and praised the role of President Mam Jalal in building the enduring ties between the Kurdistan Region and Egypt.
