PUK President: The Palestinians Deserve a Stable Life

PUK President Meets a Senior Palestinian Delegation.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met at the Political Bureau headquarters in Sulaymaniyah with Mohammed Shtayyeh, former Palestinian Prime Minister, and Dr Ahmed Majdalani, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front.

The meeting, attended by Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the PUK, and Nizar Amedi, a member of the Political Bureau, saw President Bafel affirm that “the Palestinian people in general, and the citizens of Gaza in particular, deserve a stable life and an end to the dire situation they are facing.”

For his part, the former Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude for President Bafel’s positions, noting that “President Mam Jalal played a notable and influential role in advancing democracy in the Middle East.”
