PUK President: Ready to Facilitate Dutch Investment in Agricultural Infrastructure

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Adriaan IJsselstein, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Kurdistan Region.

The meeting, attended by Nizar Amedi, a member of the PUK Political Bureau, focused on enhancing bilateral ties between the two sides across all sectors, particularly in the economic and agricultural fields.

President Bafel reaffirmed the PUK’s readiness to facilitate all necessary measures to enable Dutch companies to contribute to strengthening the agricultural sector’s infrastructure.

Both parties agreed on the importance of resolving outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad through dialogue. 

"All parties must adhere to the agreement reached, to ensure that the lives and welfare of the people are not sacrificed to political disputes," President Bafel said.
