A drone crashed on Khabat District.

A drone crashed on the morning of Monday, 28 July 2025, in the Khabat District of Erbil Governorate.

Security forces confirmed that the drone went down in the Rizgari subdistrict, causing material damage but no reported casualties.

Since the start of July, the Kurdistan Region has seen a total of 20 attacks—nine of which targeted oil installations, including Khormala, Khormor, Sarsang, Atrush, Bai Hassan, Fishkhabur, Tawke, and Hunt Oil. The remaining incidents were directed at security forces and airports.
