US President Donald Trump.
US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, describing him as “an easy target” and stating that American patience is “wearing thin”.
In comments shared on his social media platform, Truth Social, the US President claimed that the United States is aware of Khamenei’s exact whereabouts but added, “We are not going to take him out – at least not for now.” The remarks come at a time of increasing tension in the Middle East, with growing international concern over possible escalation.
He also demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender” and claimed that American and Israeli forces have “complete and total control of the skies over Iran”.
While the White House has not issued an official statement to expand on the President’s posts, the tone has drawn global attention, with many analysts warning of the risk of further destabilisation in the region.
Diplomatic efforts continue behind the scenes, though relations between Tehran and Washington remain strained. Observers are now closely watching for any response from Iranian leadership in light of the President’s remarks.
