Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, bid farewell today to Mr. Madan Gopal, Consul General of India in the Kurdistan Region.

Deputy PM stated in an X post that Mr. Gopal played a pivotal role in strengthening the relationship between the Kurdistan Region and India, with a particular focus on capacity building, vocational training, and student exchange programs.

Deputy PM Talabani expressed his sincere appreciation for Mr. Gopal’s service and contributions, and conveyed his best wishes for continued success in his future endeavors.
