PUK President welcomes Japanese Ambassador.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), welcomed Akira Endo, the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq.

The meeting focused on the latest developments in the Middle East and underscored the importance of resolving conflicts through peaceful means.

Both parties agreed to broaden cooperation and strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and Japan across all levels.

President Bafel highlighted the importance of the active involvement of Japanese companies and investors in the Kurdistan Region’s markets. He expressed his hope for increased investment in the Region to help strengthen economic infrastructure and generate employment opportunities.
