Deputy PM Congratulates Christians on Easter

Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, congratulated the Christians in the occasion of Easter holiday, while reaffirming that Christians have played a vital role in shaping the cultural richness and historical heritage of Kurdistan.

"I warmly congratulate my Christian brothers and sisters in Kurdistan, Iraq, and worldwide on the occasion of Easter, wishing them a joyful and peaceful holiday," Deputy PM Talabani said in a message on his official account on Facebook.

"As both a religious community and distinct ethnic groups, Christians have played a vital role in shaping the cultural richness and historical heritage of Kurdistan," he added. "Ensuring the preservation of this foundational diversity and promoting harmonious coexistence is a paramount goal for all."
