World Chinese Language Day Event at Sulaymaniyah University

The Centre for China Studies at Sulaymaniyah University, in collaboration with the Department of Chinese Language at Salahaddin University, is hosting a special event to celebrate World Chinese Language Day on 20 April 2025 in the Congress Hall of Sulaymaniyah University.

The event will take place in the presence of the Chinese Consul General and will feature a variety of artistic and cultural performances, including Wudang Kung Fu, Shaolin Kung Fu, Chinese and Kurdish music and dance, and traditional Chinese cuisine.

A presentation on the similarities between Kurdish and Chinese words will be held, and the programme will conclude with the screening of a Chinese New Year video.
