PUK President Offers Warm New Year Wishes to the Yazidi Community

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), issued a statement on the occasion of the Yazidi New Year, conveying his heartfelt wishes and expressing hope for the return of those still missing. 

PUK President’s statement reads:

“On the occasion of the Yazidi New Year, I extend my warmest congratulations to our Yazidi brothers and sisters, with the hope that their lives may always be filled with joy and happiness.

We sincerely hope that this celebration marks the beginning of a dignified and proud return to their homes, and that they are soon reunited with their kidnapped loved ones — easing, even in part, the deep pain they have endured for many years.”
