Deputy PM: IIEF Opens Door to Strengthening Relations

The Kurdistan Region's Deputy Prime Minister, Qubad Talabani, had separate meetings with  Armenian Ambassador to Iraq Ruben Soghoyan, Indian Consul General in the Kurdistan Region Madan Gopal, and Egyptian Commercial Consul in the Kurdistan Region Amira Nabil.

Deputy PM Talabani expressed gratitude to Egypt, Armenia, and India for helping to make the International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (IIEF) in Sulaymaniyah a success during the meetings on Sunday, 6 April 2025, saying, "The Forum can open another door to strengthen relations with these countries."

"We should leverage the experience of countries like India, Egypt, Armenia, and others to accomplish the IIEF's objective, and that Kurdistan in particular requires their expertise-based support," he added.
