CTG Forces Arrest Several Terrorists in Sharazwr

The General Directorate of Counter-Terrorism (CTG) continue to pursue and apprehend terrorists. In a recent operation, they successfully arrested several terrorists across various locations in the Sharazwr District.
In a statement to PUKMEDIA, the General Directorate of CTG announced that based on detailed intelligence and continuous monitoring by their specialised teams, the CTG forces have apprehended several terrorists in various areas of Sharazwr.
The detainees were from the Baghdad and Diyala provinces, involved in supplying equipment to both dormant and active ISIS cells. After being identified by Iraqi security agencies, they fled to the Kurdistan Region and settled in Sharazwr.
After their arrest, they were promptly handed over to the authorities for prosecution.
Finally, the General Directorate of CTG added that in coordination with the security institutions of the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and international allies, they will continue to pursue and eliminate the remnants of terrorist groups wherever they may be.
