Darbaz Kosrat Rasul: Our Goal is to Strengthen the Capacity of Kurdistan's Youth

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, the Head of the Relations Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), visited Liu Jun, the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in the Kurdistan Region.
Darbaz Kosrat Rasul expressed his pleasure with the warm hospitality extended by the Chinese Consul General, during which a number of cultural and historical matters were discussed. Mr. Jun introduced him to China’s rich traditions and culture, highlighting the leadership of their country in innovation, technology, and projects such as China’s Belt and Road Initiative, which he regarded as the right path for any civilisation's development.
Darbaz Kosrat Rasul stated that it was deemed essential to develop an exchange programme between the youth of the Kurdistan Region and the People’s Republic of China. He emphasised that strengthening the capacity of Kurdistan's youth is a key objective that needs attention, particularly in the area of diplomatic capacity development.
He also noted that understanding the history, culture, and civilisation of a great nation like China is crucial in shaping future leaders. Drawing on successful experiences plays a vital role in building the future. In this regard, he expressed the desire to strengthen the foundation for these goals through the Chinese Consulate.
