Iraqi Interior Ministry Hails Sulaymaniyah Security

The Iraqi Interior Ministry commended the security forces in Sulaymaniyah, asserting that they are the primary ally and support of their forces.
Hussein Tamimi, Media Director of the General Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs, commended the efforts of the Counter-Narcotics Directorate in Sulaymaniyah, noting the robust collaboration and coordination between their directorate and the Sulaymaniyah Counter-Narcotics Directorate.
"This collaboration has contributed to curbing the spread of narcotics, and collectively, we have succeeded in bringing the suspects in drug-related cases to justice," he stated.
The Interior Ministry's senior official stated that hundreds of kilogrammes of narcotics were confiscated and many drug trafficking gangs were dismantled with the collaboration and coordination of Sulaymaniyah's Counter-Narcotics Directorate.
Tamimi disclosed that their forces executed a collaborative operation with security forces in Sulaymaniyah, resulting in the confiscation of a narcotics factory and the seizure of hundreds of kilogrammes of drugs.
