Iraqi President Congratulates Yazidis, Reaffirms Support for Their Rights

Dr. Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq, extended his congratulations to the Yazidi community on the occasion of the Feast of Ezid.

In a post on his X account, President Rashid stated: "On the occasion of the Fasting Feast for our Yazidi people, we offer our congratulations and best wishes to our Yazidi brothers and sisters in Iraq and around the world, hoping they have a joyful holiday filled with goodness, security, and safety." 

He further added: "On this occasion, as on every occasion, we reaffirm our full support for the Yazidis in securing their legitimate rights and resolving the challenges they face, particularly the return of all displaced persons to their homes and our ongoing efforts to determine the fate of the remaining kidnapped individuals."
