Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, issued a message of congratulations on the occasion of the Feast of Ezid, offering his warm wishes to the Yazidi community.
The message reads as follows:
On the occasion of the Feast of Ezid, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all Yazidi sisters and brothers in Kurdistan and around the world, hoping that this holiday is filled with joy, happiness, and security.
We take this opportunity to reaffirm our full support for the Yazidis, and we will continue to offer assistance to ensure their rights are protected, their areas rebuilt, and all displaced persons return to their homes.
At the same time, we emphasise the importance of fostering a culture of coexistence, and we assure our Yazidi brothers and sisters, along with all other communities, that Kurdistan will always remain a land of peaceful coexistence for all.
