Special Voting Proceeds Smoothly in Sulaymaniyah

The special voting process in Sulaymaniyah province is proceeding smoothly, with no significant issues reported. The Commander of the Defense and Emergency Forces has confirmed that they are closely monitoring the process and that everything is operating well. 

Major General Rizgar Jabbar, Commander of the Defense and Emergency Forces, stated in a statement to PUKMEDIA: "The special voting process in Sulaymaniyah province is going very well, and no major problems have arisen."

He added: "Our duty is to protect the polling stations and ballot boxes in Sulaymaniyah province, and we are fulfilling our responsibilities according to the plan established by the Ministry of Interior in the regional government."

This morning, the special voting process for the elections of the sixth term of the Kurdistan Parliament commenced, with participation from the Peshmerga forces and security personnel. Polling stations opened at 7 am and will close at 6 pm.
