PUK President Reaffirms Commitment to Ending Authoritarian Rule

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, the fifth campaign rally of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) List 129 took place in the town of Ranya in the Raparin Administration, where PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani reiterated the PUK's commitment to ending authoritarian rule.
President Bafel emphasised during his speech to the masses that only the PUK has the capacity to alter the course of governance, terminate authoritarian rule, and re-establish balance in the political process.
He asserted: "The PUK aims to uphold societal morals and prevent the degradation of morals and social standards of citizens in the Kurdistan Region, and we have made significant progress in this regard."
President Bafel emphasised that "the PUK reaffirms its commitment to ending authoritarian rule and the corrupt government that has failed to deliver services to citizens and protect the Kurdish people from aggression."
