Head of PUK's Relations Bureau and Chinese CG
Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan's (PUK) Relations Bureau, visited the Consulate General of China in Erbil and conveyed his sincere congratulations to Liu Jun, Consul General of the People's Republic of China, on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
Darbaz Kosrat Rasul expressed his gratitude to the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China for their ongoing efforts, marking a decade since the consulate's establishment in the Kurdistan Region. He noted that during the peak of ISIS attacks on the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, China demonstrated its support for the Kurdish people, delivering a strong message of friendship and solidarity.
In their meeting, they focused on strengthening the historical ties between the Kurdish people and China, particularly between the PUK and the Communist Party of China. They aimed to enhance the exchange of experiences about economic growth, reform, and the advancement of peace, stability, and shared prosperity in the surrounding region.
Darbaz Kosrat and Liu Jun highlighted the significance of a fair and transparent electoral process that truly represents the people's will, paving the way for a brighter future for the Kurdistan Region.
