PUK, 6 Kurdistani Parties: We Can Better Serve Kurdish People by Unity

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and six Kurdish parties convened on Monday, July 15, 2024, to discuss various significant matters. They emphasised that they can better serve the Kurdish people through unity and solidarity.
A PUK delegation led by Political Bureau member Rizgar Haji Hama and Leadership Council members Salar Lala Sarhad and Latif Nerway met with the presidents and leaders of six other Kurdish parties, including the Kurdistan National Reform Movement, Kurdistan Nawa Party, Kurdistan Democratic Liberation Movement, Kurdistan Green Party, Peaceful Movement, and Kurdistan Democratic Progressive Party.
They discussed the current state of affairs in the Kurdistan Region, the ongoing efforts to establish local administrations in Kirkuk and Nineveh, and the importance of military unity.
"We have always supported the consolidation and internal organisation of the Kurdish people, and by working together, we can better serve the Kurdish people and safeguard the Kurdistan Region's accomplishments," said Rizgar Haji Hama, a member of the Political Bureau.
Simultaneously, the leaders of all six parties reaffirmed their commitment to improving relations with the PUK and upholding party unity and solidarity.
