Asayish Forces Arrest 9 ISIS Terrorists

The General Directorate of Asayish has announced the arrest of nine people affiliated with the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organisation.
 
According to the Asayish General Directorate, "Based on reliable intelligence, our forces successfully apprehended 9 individuals affiliated with the ISIS terrorist organisation in two operations." These individuals, who were residing across different provinces of the Kurdistan Region, were arrested with the intention of evading capture."
 
"Investigations have confirmed that the apprehended individuals are affiliated with the ISIS terrorist organisation and have actively engaged in several acts of terrorism. "All of them were apprehended in accordance with Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law and then transferred to judicial authorities," the statement added.
