The State Administration Alliance convened a meeting in Baghdad on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in the presence of Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), to deliberate on the establishment of local governments in Kirkuk and Diyala.

As per the press release from the meeting, which PUKMEDIA obtained a copy of, the meeting took place at the residence of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani. They discussed the recent developments in Iraq and the region, with a focus on the government and relevant institutions' efforts to serve the citizens.
