CTG, Coalition Forces Arrest Terrorist

A terrorist was apprehended through a collaborative effort between the General Directorate of Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) and the International Coalition Forces Against the Islamic State (ISIS) in Chamchamal.

The CTG and coalition forces have reported that a terrorist identified (A, Y, M, N), born in 1972 in Diyala province, has been detained and the suspect has a documented record of engaging in terrorist actions affiliated with both al-Qaeda and ISIS.

As per the statement, he was sought after by Iraqi courts based on charges of terrorism under Article 4. Following his apprehension, he was promptly sent to the authorities for legal retribution.
