Qubad Talabani: KRG is Prepared to Provide All Facilitations to UAE Investors

Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Qubad Talabani visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consulate General and met with Ahmed Ibrahim Saeed al-Dhaheri, the UAE Consul General, to discuss various issues of mutual interest.
The Wednesday meeting focused on the advancement of relations between the UAE and the Kurdistan Region across all sectors. Talabani highlighted the UAE's successful development experience and stressed the Kurdistan Region's interest in leveraging that country's expertise across many sectors.
During another part of the meeting, they deliberated on strategies to collaborate in order to attract UAE investors to the Kurdistan Region. The Deputy Prime Minister stated that the Kurdistan Regional Government is prepared to provide all kinds of facilitations to UAE investors, particularly in the sectors of manufacturing, agriculture, and tourism.
The meeting also addressed the Kurdistan Region's relations with Baghdad, as well as recent developments in that regard. Talabani stated that their efforts are aimed at resolving the issues between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad in accordance with the Constitution.
Regarding the upcoming Kurdistan parliamentary elections, which were also discussed at the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasised the importance of holding timely, transparent, and fair elections that will be scheduled by the presidency soon.
