Estonian President Arrives in Kurdistan Region

On Wednesday, Estonian President Alar Karis and his delegation arrived in the Kurdistan Region, where they were welcomed by President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani.

Based on PUKMEDIA's information, President Barzani of the Kurdistan Region, along with his delegation consisting of Peshmerga Minister Shorsh Ismail and Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, will have a meeting with Estonian President Karis.

The Estonian President arrived in Iraq on Tuesday for an official visit. President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid of Iraq welcomed the delegation at Baghdad Palace in a ceremony that featured the national anthems of both nations. Subsequently, the presidents of Iraq and Estonia engaged in a meeting where they discussed several matters of mutual interest.

At their meeting, President Rashid and the Estonian President discussed bilateral relations and strategies to strengthen them.
