Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, has put the SMARTSULI Platform initiative into effect in Sulaymaniyah.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Qubad Talabani, introduced the inaugural project of the SMARTSULI platform in Sulaymaniyah. This new endeavor aims to address the city's issues and enhance citizen services by fostering collaboration, employing smart solutions, gathering data, utilizing advanced technology, and facilitating stakeholder connections. Consequently, Sulaymaniyah is poised to become a pioneering city in terms of innovation within the Kurdistan region and Iraq.
Furthermore, the SMARTSULI City Solutions Hackathon is set to take place in Sulaymaniyah on Sunday, January 7, 2024. During the event, participants will submit various opinions and suggestions aimed at enhancing the private sector, data and information, and enriching the SMARTSULI platform.
Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani announced two significant projects at the MEED conference: the Data Revolution Initiative, aiming to drive social change and sustainable economic growth in Iraq's Kurdistan Region, and SMARTSULI which involves using data to identify the best solutions.
