Vice President Praises Germany's Collaboration with Kurdistan

Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region, welcomed Klaus Dieter Streicher, German Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting, the vice president praised Germany's relations with the Kurdistan Region, highlighting joint efforts to combat terrorism and terrorist organizations' radical ideologies while also promoting stability and peace in the region. He believed that the only way to break the political impasse was for political parties to engage in dialogue based on the Constitution. He also hoped that in the coming year, the issues between Baghdad and Erbil would move beyond political disputes and into a new phase of managing state institutions.
The German Consul General emphasized the significance of maintaining and strengthening ties between Germany and the Kurdistan Region. He also emphasized the importance of political party unity and solidarity in achieving a comprehensive resolution to the issues between Baghdad and Erbil.
