Darbaz Kosrat Rasul: PUK Wants Strong Relations with All Parties

On Sunday, October 29, 2023, Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Head of the Relations Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Klaus Streicher, Consul General of Germany in the Kurdistan Region, at the headquarters of the PUK Political Bureau in Erbil.
During the meeting, in which PUK Leadership Council member Dara Khaylani was present, Darbaz Kosrat Rasul expressed gratitude to the German government for its ongoing support of the Kurdistan Region and the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces, particularly in the fight against terrorism.
In addition, they talked about the state of affairs in the Kurdistan Region and the relations between the political groups. Regarding this, both parties emphasized how critical it is to strengthen ties between the political parties. The head of the Relations Bureau stated: "The PUK wants a strong and balanced relationship with all political forces and parties."
Another aspect of the meeting between the German Consul and the Head of the Relations Bureau was relations between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad. Both parties reached a consensus on mutual understanding and fundamental solutions to problems that fell within the purview of the Constitution.
