Socialist International Congratulates PUK on Holding its Fifth Congress

On the occasion of the fifth Congress of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), the secretary general of the Socialist International (SI) wrote to the PUK's leadership and members, stating that it was an honor and a privilege to convey their message of support and solidarity.

Dear PUK leaders and members, 

On the occasion of your fifth congress, I offer my most sincere and warmest greetings. As you assemble to consider your work as a party, it is a pleasure and a privilege on behalf of the SI to express our message of solidarity and support. I apologize for being unable to attend this congress despite my best efforts.

As members of the Socialist International, we stand in solidarity with you. We share your desire for a more inclusive, democratic, and equitable society. We believe that through communication, collaboration, and commitment to shared values, we can all contribute to a better future for everyone.

I wish you success at this congress and look forward to seeing you in Iraq soon.
