President Bafel: We Hold Profound Respect for CTG Martyrs

Bafel Jalal Talabani, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, was present at the funeral ceremony held in honor of the members of the General Directorate of Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) who tragically got martyred in a drone assault at the Arbat agricultural airfield in Sulaymaniyah Province.
During the funeral ceremony, President Bafel Jalal Talabani conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the individuals who were martyred in the tragic event. Additionally, he addressed his sympathies by stating: "The martyrs of CTG might be regarded as martyrs who have made significant contributions to the promotion of peace and stability in the Kurdistan Region. We hold a profound respect for their sacrifices and sorrow for their loss."
The CTG announced on Monday, September 18, 2023, that the agricultural airfield of Arbat in Sulaymaniyah was subjected to an attack that martyred three CTG Peshmergas and injured three others.
The terrorist attack on the Arbat Agricultural airfield was widely condemned throughout Iraq.
