In addition, President Bafel suggested that we form a powerful, influential council in Congress out of our struggling countrymen, one that would assist us in achieving our objectives.
The Leadership Council thanked the Supreme Congress Commission for its prior efforts after hearing the details of the commission's work, and it instructed the leadership comrades to submit their ideas and thoughts to the commission to advance its efforts.
During the meeting, the political situation in Iraq and Kurdistan, as well as the PUK's strategies for addressing these issues, were also discussed.
