Head of PUK's General Studies Center: PUK Moves to Hold 5th Congress

Head of PUK's General Studies Center, Dr. Yousif Goran

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has taken the first step toward holding its fifth congress.

In a Twitter post, Dr. Yousif Goran, Head of the PUK's General Studies Center, said, "The PUK has taken the first concrete step toward having a congress; this decision is both brave and historic."

Dr. Goran added that holding Congress is also an effective way to prepare for the upcoming elections. "The PUK is now more united than ever, allowing it to take more measures aimed at fortifying and rebuilding our Region."
