Deputy Prime Minister meets EU Ambassador to Iraq in Erbil

Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, met with the European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Ville Varjola, in Erbil to mark the end of his mission.

"Ville Varjola, the EU Ambassador to Iraq, played a significant role in bringing the parties together throughout the political crisis and finding solutions," Talabani wrote on his Facebook page. Throughout our meeting, we discussed the most recent events, the political climate in Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region."

Talabani praised Varjola's efforts to promote political harmony and stability in Iraq and Kurdistan and wished him luck in his upcoming roles.
