PUK Congratulates Yazidis on Peak of Summer Celebration

On the occasion of Peak of Summer, also known as "The 40th of Summer," the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) extends its congratulations to the Yazidis living in Kurdistan, Iraq, and throughout the world. This holiday is also known as "The 40th of Summer."

The following is the Politburo's statement:

We heartily congratulate our Yazidi brothers and sisters in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world on the return of the Peak of Summer.

We pray that this occasion will bring the Yazidi people relief from the anguish and suffering they have endured at the hands of their persecutors and that it will also bring them joy and happiness. In addition, we pray that their fasts will be accepted during this year so that they may live lives filled with joy and prosperity.
