The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) congratulates Muslims on the beginning of the new Hijri (Islamic) calendar year.

The PUK Political Bureau's message of congratulations stated:

We extend our heartfelt greetings to all Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world on the occasion of the Hijri (Islamic) New Year 1445 AH. We hope that this glorious occasion will bring happiness and prosperity to our people and that we overcome obstacles and suffering to ensure prosperity for all in the new year.
