According to Dr. Yousif Goran, Head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan's (PUK) General Studies Center, "The best response to the increasing Arabization of the disputed areas is the unification of Kurdish forces in the upcoming elections."

The director of the General Studies Center stated in a tweet: "The unification of Kurdish forces in the disputed areas in the upcoming elections is the best way to respond to the marginalization, occupation, and increasing Arabization of the disputed areas."

"It is critical for Kurdish forces to prioritize national concerns over narrow party interests and to refrain from slogans and accusations," he added.
