Qubad Talabani meets with Garmian Administration officials
Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, met with the directors and supervisors of the Garmian Autonomous Administration to discuss how to better implement projects there. He emphasized that the issues with investment projects needed to be resolved before the next meeting, which will take place soon.
Talabani brought up the criticisms and grievances of the investors and residents of Garmian in the meeting that was held on Tuesday in Sulaymaniyah, and He issued a warning that no errors or carelessness in the conduct of the affairs of citizens and investors would be allowed.
To address these issues, Talabani established a special committee made up of the supervisors and directors of Garmian and the office of the Deputy Prime Minister. The committee's task is to monitor and assess the administrative issues and flaws and to take the necessary action to address them. During this time, the investment projects also need to be completed and made ready for implementation.
He said that anyone in a position of authority or management who fails to handle citizen affairs or puts obstacles in the way of investment projects will be held accountable.
The Deputy Prime Minister urged the directors and supervisors to collaborate fully and work as a team to quickly finish all project preparations.
This meeting was a follow-up to Talabani's earlier discussions with officials and general directors. A week prior, he had also met with the supervisors and directors of the Raparin Administration and had advised them to finish making preparations for a variety of investment and service projects before the next meeting.
Earlier, on September 4, 2022, he met with the Sulaymaniyah general directorates; as a result, numerous investment projects were quickly initiated.
