President Bafel, Qubad Talabani meet with Jalal Sheikh Naji

President Bafel, Jalal Sheikh Naji, and Qubad Talabani.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), and Qubad Talabani, Supervisor of the Secretariat of President Mam Jalal, met with Jalal Sheikh Naji, Head of the Kurdistan Parastin and Zanyari/Zanyari Agency.

The meeting covered the most recent advancements in security alongside initiatives to protect public safety. Jalal Sheikh Naji described the agency's new mission and strategy for ensuring the security of the Kurdistan Region from this perspective.

In turn, President Bafel praised Jalal Sheikh Naji's tireless and sincere efforts to carry out his duties at various stages, saying: "The Parastin and Zanyari/Zanyari Agency is moving in the right direction and will continue its responsibilities in the same path as President Mam Jalal that includes protecting national interests and serving citizens, which is a pleasure for us, and the only goal of the agency is to protect Kurdistan away from authoritarianism and private interests.

Furthermore, President Bafel offered his full backing and assistance for the head of the Parastin and Zanyari/Zanyari Agency to do his job well. He also said: "Jalal Sheikh Naji will always be my brother, a close friend, and a prominent character of the PUK. He is an influential figure in the security agencies and has a brilliant history of fighting terrorism and outlaws. We will support this task in every way and carry out this historic task with a new strategy."
