Iraqi President congratulates Turkish President in a phone call

Iraqi President and Turkish President.

The President of Iraq, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, called the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to congratulate him on being re-elected as Türkiye's President.

President Rashid sincerely congratulated President Erdogan and wished him the best of luck in doing his job. He also wished the Turkish people more growth and prosperity.

He also said that Iraq is eager to strengthen mutual ties and cooperation with Türkiye in a way that would benefit the people of both countries the most.

President Erdogan thanked President Rashid for his kind words and the message of congratulations he sent. He also hoped that ties between the two countries would continue to improve.
