PUK President appoints new advisor

President Bafel and Dr. Shawnm Zrar Bilbas.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), appointed Dr. Shawnm Zrar Bilbas as the President's Advisor on Human Abilities Affairs.

 

The PUK continues to support women and has always encouraged women's active participation in all fields of partisan work. In this regard, Dr. Shawnm was appointed as the PUK President's Advisor on Human Abilities Affairs to benefit from her experience serving many segments of society and to improve the use of citizens' and PUK cadres' abilities.

 

President Bafel directed and clarified Dr. Shawnm's duties, saying: "Our priority is to serve the people and listen to their demands. To that end, we shall use human abilities to develop a comprehensive program inside our party organs, putting the PUK's activities more in the service of the people."

 

Also, he congratulated Dr. Shawnm for her arduous efforts and wished her success in her new role.
