President Bafel: We must be proud of the diversity in the Region

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Sheikh Nahro Muhammad Kasnazani, the Spiritual leader of the Kasnazani Qadiri Order, in Dabashan.

In the meeting,  Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region, Jalal Sheikh Karim, and Sheikh Ahmad Hama Karim, members of the PUK Political Bureau, discussed the situation in the Kurdistan Region,  political changes and the importance of unifying national efforts to maintain stability and serve the people was reiterated.

President Bafel drew attention to the PUK's efforts to strengthen the spirit of unity and coexistence: "We must be proud of the diversity and coexistence that already exist in the Kurdistan Region and work to strengthen them. Together, we can create a brighter future and serve Kurdistan."

"Continue in the same spirit and give a brighter face to our region," he added, "just as the Sheikhs of the Order have played a significant role in spreading the idea of moderation and promoting the public good in the past."
